This was the first lesson with Kevin. I introduced myself, and then we spent 20 minutes talking after watching a short video. I like this organization of the lesson.

Today we had two nice videos about people in Japan who rent a family member "father", "wife", daughter", or "grandma" or a "friend" , even a "dog" , for a day, an evening, a wedding, a meal, a picnic... Rental Compagnies of that kind are very popular now a days in Japan, but sounds strange for people from the West countries.

During this session we had first a general discussion about linguistics topics. Then we turn on the video who was about Greenland. Pretty interesting to understand the way people are living there now a days.

This was a nice session again devoted on culture differences. The topic focused on was how Japanese parents raised their kids.

During this session we talked about Conservation Parks for wild endangered animals.. Great jobs for rangers who saved animals but survival traffic for poor poachers.

When I try to explain what I extracted, I usually slur my words or refer to more than necessary. But, I feel my reading and listening is gradually increasing. As I have 10 days left until TOFEL, I'm gonna go for my best.
