I did the speaking Assessment with Steve, and I recommend not doing it with him if you have not had lessons with this tutor. First of all, it is not empathetic and I did not feel comfortable taking the test, starting with the fact that the tutor sits behind a large desk which makes one anxious, never smiles and is very aloof. There is also a distracting background behind him: you can see the sea or ocean and there is a rabbit waving. I don't find this appropriate. Moreover, the only suggestion he gave me to improve my English is to follow his sessions, and in describing them he is very keen to emphasise the diversity (and therefore superiority) of his approach compared to that of other tutors. If the evaluation is to be objective, these are not good premises. In addition, the test was not taken with my current level in mind: his pronunciation was such that I found it difficult. I don't know what his sessions are like, but I certainly wouldn't recommend him to take the test if you haven't taken the lessons with him, because he seemed biased to me.

Seguo lezioni con Steve da diversi mesi. Metodo diverso dai classici, ottimo per chi vuole raggiungere obiettivi a lungo termine. Sempre puntuale, sempre disponibile a soddisfare tue curiosità. A volte dimentica che potrei far fatica a comprendere se parla un po' più veloce, ma è molto paziente nel ripetere e rispiegare con altri termini. Lo consiglio vivamente!

mi sono subito trovato a mio agio e lo consiglierei. mi ha spiegato che il suo metodo non è il classico metodo per imparare le lingue e mi ha convinto. credo che fisserò nuovi incontri con Steve.
